First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that has been impacted by this storm. The damage and devastation are unprecedented.
Our crews are working tirelessly to restore our network elements affected by Hurricane Helene including our central offices, remote facility buildings, and outside plant. It goes without saying, many roads have been damaged or completely destroyed during the storm, making it near impossible to get trucks and equipment needed to make repairs, however we are making every effort.
We are pulling all resources available, including calling on sister co-ops and telcos for extra man-power and equipment. Through these efforts we are making progress with our core infrastructure, which is the backbone for our entire network. We will continue to provide updates as progress is made and know that your Cooperative is here to serve as always.
