Now you can call emergency or frequently dialed numbers just by dialing one or two numbers.

This capability includes long-distance numbers, but toll charges will apply.

You have a choice of selecting either a short list of eight telephone numbers (Speed Calling 8) or a longer list of 30 telephone numbers (Speed Calling 30).

If you have selected Speed Calling 8, but want to be able to speed call more numbers, just call us and let us know. We'll change your service to Speed Calling 30 quickly.

To Enter/Change Your Speed Dial List

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
2. Press 74#. On a rotary phone, dial 74 for Speed Calling 8;
3. Listen for the dial tone. Press or dial one of the 8 one-digit numbers (2 through 9) for 8- Number Speed Dial.
4. Then, dial the number you wish to speed call (for long-distance entries remember to include the "1" and the area code.) Two beeps will confirm your entry.

To Use Your Speed Dial Feature

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
2. Press or dial the appropriate one- or two-digit speed dial number(s), and the # button. On rotary phones, dial the same number.
3. Your call will now be automatically dialed.
