Call Forwarding for businesses allows you to transfer your incoming calls automatically to a different telephone number. If you forward your calls to an out of area telephone number where a long-distance charge applies, you will be billed the charges. This feature is perfect for small business owners who need to accept calls when they can't be in the office.
How to Use
- Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
- Press 72#. On a rotary phone, dial 72.
- Again, listen for the dial tone. Now, dial the number where you wish your calls forwarded. When someone answers at the forwarded number, your Call Forwarding feature is now in effect.
If there is no answer or if the line is busy, hang up and repeat the previous steps. If this is done within two minutes, you'll hear two beeps meaning your Call Forwarding feature is now activated. Once you have activated Call Forwarding, the phone will make one short ring each time a call is forwarded. You can still make outgoing calls from this phone. If you wish to change the number your calls are being transferred to, just deactivate Call Forwarding (see instructions) and then follow the steps above for Call Forwarding.

Listen for two beeps. Call forwarding is now deactivated and calls will ring on your phone as normal.
